There are still many people who feel comfortable using their old cell phone which just have basic features. Most of these people are reluctant about using Smartphones, thus, such people are referred to as technophobic. Getting these people to use Smartphone is not an easy task, as most technophobic people lack confidence in their ability to learn how to use a Smartphone. In order to facilitate technophobic people to use the modern phones, the first challenge is to find them a phone according to their usability. If they find the phone easy to use, it’s possible they might prefer the smart ones over basic phones. Smartphone have loads of features and operate on various platforms, but, we will discriminate it in three basic features i.e. iPhone, Android and Windows phones.
Who should use Android?
Android phones are not the easiest to operate, thus they are not highly recommended for technophobic folks. However, if you want to change yourself completely from a technophobic to a technology lover, then you should go for Android. Android phones are a bit complex in operation, but they will give you some distinct features that iPhone or Windows phone does not offer. If you are afraid that you will get perplexed by the Android complexities, you may try out an actual Android phone, perhaps from your friends or relatives. Once you get the hang of using an Android phone, chances are you will fall in love with Android.
Who should use an iPhone?
iPhone is quite easy to operate, as the inventor of the iPhone Steve Jobs said that the best way to test a new gadget is to hand it over to kids, if they declare it fit, the gadget will succeed. iPhone was also first tested by the kids under age of 14. When a technophobic person will switch to the Smartphone, he/she may want to use the latest apps in his/her phone. For those people who like to live in the app world, the best choice for them is the iPhone. ITunes (the app store for iPhone) has a vast range of apps, songs and games from where you can easily download them.
Usually, users fail to realize the significance of their data stored on their iPhone. Thus, they treat their iPhone like a basic cell phone, failing to realize their basic phones did not have the capability to store as much information as an iPhone. If a person loses a simple cell phone, it may not compromise his/her personal data that much. But if he/she loses his/her iPhone, it may end up costing that person his or her identity. To avoid such data breach through iPhone it is better to use security software that can protect files in iPhone.
Who should use Windows Phone?
Windows phone is the best choice for technophobic people; there are a number of reasons for the statement. First, Windows phone has a perfect combination of the best features from Android and iPhone. The Windows phone consists of a friendly user interface similar to the iPhone and the latest features of Android which makes it geeks’ choice. Anyone who had used a simple cell phone throughout his life can easily switch to Windows phone with little or no learning curve.
